Shipping Information
We offer two different shipping options for larger furniture: Curbside Delivery and In-Home Setup. When you know which items you will need to have shipped to your home, add all the items to your shopping cart and proceed through the checkout process to see your Shipping Charges (prior to final checkout) or call us at 1-833-326-4743.
We utilize our company trucks or third-party shippers to deliver furniture to your address. The furniture is professionally packaged or blanket wrapped and secured with tie-down straps for protection during transportation.
Our delivery team primarily makes deliveries within about a 100 mile radius of the E-Amish Furniture warehouse in Shipshewana, Indiana. We also deliver furniture across the continental United States utilizing third-party shipping companies. From time to time, we use other shipping methods — such as Fedex or UPS. (This is based primarily on the size of the order and furniture.)
Each shipping party we utilize has slightly different delivery policies and procedures. If you have any concerns regarding these policies, please contact us. We can direct you to more information about the shipping company used for your piece(s). In all cases, the furniture is insured, and satisfaction is guaranteed.
Once your order is completed and you receive confirmation to that effect, the furniture must be picked up within 14 days if you choose the pickup option during your checkout process. Special arrangements must be made if pickup cannot be completed by the 14th day. Storage fees will apply.
You must be at your home during your scheduled delivery time in order to avoid a re-delivery charge of $50 plus twice the original delivery fees.
- You must have someone on hand at delivery to assist the driver during the unloading process. It is your responsibility to take the furniture from the truck onto the curbside and beyond. Additional people may be required, depending on the size of the order being delivered. Extra charges will apply if you request that the shipment be carried inside the home.
- Curbside Delivery typically takes place within 2-5 weeks from the date your furniture is built or the furniture order date, whichever occurs later. Delivery may take longer than five weeks for those deliveries that are a greater distance from our warehouse.
- We will call you to schedule a delivery after your furniture order is completed. At least two people will make the delivery.
- The individuals will carry your furniture to the room(s) requested and set up the furniture. (This includes assembling beds, placing hutch tops on hutch bases, etc.)
Standard Shipping
- At times, we utilize traditional delivery services like UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
- Standard Shipping is used when your order has items small enough to package and protect properly.
- Items that may be sent via Standard Shipping: Amish Toys, Cleaning Products, Safe Glides, Children’s Games, etc.
- When your item(s) are shipped from our warehouse you will receive a notice via E-mail.
After unloading and before the drivers leave, you should inspect the furniture for damage. Product damage is rare. However, if you find damage, you should note it in the appropriate box on the Delivery Receipt provided by the driver, and then sign it. Contact E-Amish Furniture immediately and a claim will be filed.
(Note: If there are any tears, indentations or holes on the exterior of the package, but no damage is found, you should still note this on the Delivery Receipt that the packaging contained holes and/or tears.)
